That the Community Safety Annual Plan for 2018/19 be approved.

(b)          Reason(s) for Decision(s)

The Community Safety Strategy for 2017 to 2020 was approved by Council in 2017.  An annual Action Plan is produced based upon the Strategy objectives and reported to Cabinet and the Environment and Living Scrutiny Committee.

(c)        Alternative Options Considered

None.

(d)       Relevant Scrutiny Committee

Environment and Living.  That Scrutiny Committee received a similar report at its meeting on 28 March, 2018.  The Committee Chairman attended the Cabinet meeting and reported on the Committee’s deliberations.  Cabinet agreed that where possible the comments of the Scrutiny Committee would be taken into account in the implementation of the Action Plan.
